An example of late seventeenth-century Chinese pewter work, this screen is distinguished by the use of two-tone pictorial decoration. On the front, a woman plays the game touhu, in which arrows are shot into a narrow-necked vase. On the back of the screen is a quote from a Tang-dynasty poem by Shen Quanqi (ca. 650–729).
