Description
Each of baluster shape body, rising from a slight splayed foot to a tall waisted neck, painted with peonies and rocks on one side and Chinese calligraphic poem on the other side, all above n a band of ruyi-head and upright petal lappets below. The turquoise-ground necks are decorated to each side with stylised lotus blooms and scrolls, bearing Jingdezhen mark on base. H60 x W23 cm Provenance: Bonhams
