Physical description
Dish with rounded sides and slightly everted rim, set on a high, spreading, hollow foot ribbed just below the join, painted with sprays of chrysanthemum, lotus, magnolia and other flowers interspersed among four butterflies, in overglaze polychrome enamels in the famille rose palette. The stem is covered with a light green enamel veined with grey, apparently to imitate marble. The mark is written horizontally in four seal characters in red enamel within the foot.
